1. What is this site?

This community was established for Ferris alumni, faculty, staff and current students as a place to network, share information and to connect with the staff of the alumni office at Ferris State University.  This site is provided to our members free of charge.  It is exclusive to our Ferris constituency and requires registration to access private areas of this site.

 

2.  I'm a current student.  How can I join?

We welcome participation from current students!  Contact the alumni office at 231.591.2345, stop in to see us at Prakken 101 or email us at alumni_office@ferris.edu for assistance.

3.  What is Facebook Connect and how do I use it?

4.  How do I obtain a copy of my transcript?

5.  How do I find my classmates?

Registered users can access the online directory on this site to obtain contact information for their classmates.  You may also contact the alumni office for assistance at 888.378.3647 or email alumni_office@ferris.edu.

6.  How do I submit a class note for the Ferris Magazine?

Contact the editor of the Ferris Magazine by emailing editor@ferris.edu.  You may also post your class note on this site by clicking on the "Class Notes" link in the log in area on the homepage.  Be sure to click the "Connect with Facebook" button when logging in, and push the class note to your Facebook newsfeed for your friends to see!

7. How do I purchase tickets for athletic events?

Go to ferrisstatebulldogs.com to purchase tickets for Bulldog sporting events.

8.  How do I get an alumni email account?

All alumni who graduated after December 2009 automatically keep their email for life.  If you have forgotten your log in, contact the Ferris technical services department at 231.591.4822.

9.  Can I get career assistance from Ferris?

All alumni of Ferris can access the excellent career resources offered by Ferris.  Follow this link for more information:  Career Services.

 

10. Help, some of the information is wrong on my record, and I can't change it.

We restrict access to certain portions of your record, such as education information.  Typically, we list your first degree as your preferred year, unless you have told us differently.  Changing it is easy, just email us at alumni_office@ferris.edu and let us know the information you would like listed differently.

11.  How can my company post a job on the job board?

Registered users of this site have the ability to post jobs on the job board.  Companies who do not currently have a registered user on staff may contact the alumni office to have the job posted for them.  Asking your HR department to contact us with any employment opportunity helps your fellow alumni in their job search!
