MCO Dean Search

A second search for a new Dean for MCO is underway.  The Search Committee is chaired by Dr. Roger Kamen, professor at MCO.  Other MCO faculty on the Committee are Dr. Bob Carter and Dr. Phil Walling.  Other members of the Committee include Dr. Karen Strasser, Biology Department Chair, and Ms. Marietta Bell-Schriber, professor of Nursing.  Dr. Don Flickinger, Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs, is an ex officio member of the Committee also.

The job position and requirements for application have been written and posted.  Advertisements for the position opening have been appearing in the optometric literature.
As of April 30, 2009, we have received 3 internal applications and 2 external applications.  Applications will be accepted until the interviewees have been selected.  Interviews will probably start in May, 2009.
