The Alumni Opportunity Fund

The Opportunity Fund helps to support the outreach efforts of the FSU Alumni Association. Your support helps to fund the following program and activities:

	The Alumni Legacy Scholarship Fund provides essential education funding for the children, grandchildren and siblings of Ferris alumni.
	Every fall, we welcome back over 4,000 alumni who attend various Homecoming events such as the parade, the football game and the popular alumni and student dance at the Holiday Inn.
	The annual Spring Reunion Banquet honors the returning classes of 50 and 40 years. The Alumni Association also recognizes exceptional achievements with distinguished alumni awards during the evening.
	In-state receptions are frequently held prior to Bulldog sporting events, such as when the hockey team takes on Michigan or Michigan State, at tailgates for away football games, and for special events like the Detroit Symphony or an opportunity for area alumni to meet with Ferris President David Eisler.
	Our annual events in Florida, Arizona and the Chicago areas allow us to reach out to Bulldogs in those states.
	Special events to welcome our newest alumni, such as the annual Spring Graduation Fair, where graduating students have a one-stop shopping experience to prepare for Commencement and beyond.
	Current students benefit from activities for the student leadership group that is sponsored by the Alumni Association. The Student Alumni Gold Club helps us grow future alumni leaders.
